Friends of Little Rocky Run - Virtual Tour of Watershed, Page 21, The Falls to New Braddock Road, Cont.
As we continue upstream (photos read top to bottom, left to right) from the log bridge, a beaver "gnaw" is visible on the tree in the photo below right.  A new beaver dam, just beginning construction, is visible upstream from the tree over-hanging the creek.  The third photo is a close-up of the dam. 
The sand bank shown below and in the previous two pictures marks the spot where the walking trail veers off to the left or west.  From this point on, there is no real trail other than occasional deer trails or sporadic human footpaths from here to old Braddock Road.
