Friends of Little Rocky Run - Virtual Tour of Watershed, Page 25, The Falls to New Braddock Road, Cont.
This attempt to build a log cabin is on the left or west side of the rapids shown in the last picture on the previous page.

It is not acceptable to do this.  For starters, the remaining forested area along Little Rocky Run is very limited.  (See our Introductory Page).  Whoever built this sawed down a number of trees and, without a doubt, it will be abandoned and left to rot and will never be completed.

Worse, as usual, the people involved also left trash around.

So who built this?  We suspect older boys and maybe a dad or two because the cuts and the lengths of the logs are fairly uniform.

Will they come back and clean up their trash?  We doubt it seriously.  In fact, if they keep rendevousing here, things will just get worse and worse.

The only thing to do is for someone to tear it down.

Fortunately this is one of the more ambitious illegal building projects anywhere in the LRR watershed.

And from here the creek continues its beautiful course.
