| This section of Little Rocky Run can best be described as hostile. It is almost inaccessible any time other than winter because for the rest of the year it is choked with poison ivy, thorn bushes, honey-suckle, and biting insects. The picture below shows the rather forbidding beginning of this section, the view from under the bridge on New Braddock Road. The bottom photo shows some impressive graffiti under the bridge. There is little doubt but that unknown people use this area as a hide-out. The good news is that the same conditions that discourage human activity here are also a positive for animals and other critters. |
