On the left bank, just opposite the two trees in Photo 6 above right, dead deer have been found for two straight Novembers, both of them poached (the way you can tell is that the tenderloins have been removed). The photo to the right shows the 3rd creek crossing, which was clearly a road once. There were steel conduit pipes here, but they washed downstream long ago and were removed by volunteers in June, 2002. |
