These two photos show the last natural stretch of this part of the stream. It is hard to tall from these photos, which are in sequence, but the creek was channelized here sometime in the distant past. The banks are too steep and contoured to be natural. Apparently more work is planned here based on the marker ribbon hanging from the trees. Maybe not. The white object in the center of the right photo is a big hunk of styrofoam.

Need a gas pump? This one is behind Meineke at 13600 Lee Highway. Someone tossed it into the stream valley many years ago on the left bank of the stream in the far right photo. With a few minor repairs, it would be good as new. Oh yeah. It might even be an antique. It is one of those old ones where the numbers roll around. Probably a victim of the digital age. Why bother taking it to the dump, when all you had to do was heave it down a hill.? Who would ever know?

And who knows how old this camp site is and who used it? (It is in the woods on the right side of the above right photo). The gray sleeping bag at center left doesn't look that old, which might be an indication that the camp was used until recently. The well built fireplace and the table indicate someone stayed here for a while. Whoever they were they probably got antsy when the developers showed up and split. These folks probably wanted privacy.
