| As the creek continues its forlorn journey from upstream, it goes under Leyland Drive. Note the grey truck vans visible in the back of the photo. About 50 yards behind them, there is a large dump. It may still be active because some of the trash looks fairly new. Among many other things, there are a half dozen discarded propane gas tanks. See page 53 for more information. |

| Based on maps created prior to the development, this appears to be the beginning point of this headwater stream. Developers have thoughtfully left a copse of trees to mark the spot. Above here the forest has been cut down and hauled away, leaving a sea of mud. I-66 is to the rear and right of this photo and can be heard quite distinctly in the distance. |
