Why is it that the new bridges over Little Rocky Run appear to be designed to handle large volumes of water? The openings are about 10' X 10' The old bridges (see page 60) are much smaller. Could it be that the huge new amounts of impervious surfaces mean that someone is expecting massive flooding?

About fifty yards downstream of the bridge shown above, there are the remains of an old house. A chimney insert wood stove is clearly visible. No one seems to know who these people were, but two of their dogs were buried downhill near the creek.

Tequila and Buck have been buried beneath two iron crosses. These markers should be left alone. Whoever put these markers in put them there to stay. They are heavily anchored into the ground. These dogs had emotional value to the original owners. It may be that they were coon hounds, but no one knows for sure. Do you?
