| Nobody gets paid to improve the environment of the Little Rocky Run watershed. Everything is done by volunteers who donate valuable time to make the world we live in a better place. Quite often we also get help from dedicated government employees who go way beyond what they are getting paid to do. Here are some of the people who have chipped in and really made a difference in improving the environment in the Little Rocky Run watershed. Please note that the following accolades are not in any particular order. (Photos are mostly nice things observed in the Little Rocky Run watershed - beautiful pictures for beautiful people). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Jan Van Camp and Jim Thomson are assistant scoutmasters for Boy Scout Troop 577. This Troop has hauled out a phenomenal amount of trash from the LRR watershed, including about 200 bags of trash, car and truck parts, Giant grocery carts, tires, and you name it. There aren't better people on the planet than these folks. Photo: a Monarch butterfly feeding on a thistle . |

| Cliff Fairweather | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Cliff is an unsung hero if there ever was one. He is a Virginia Conservation Associate (along with our friend Stella Koch) for the Audubon Naturalist Society, and tirelessly educates people about the natural wonders all around us. He is also very concerned about the perils that face the Little Rocky Run watershed and Fairfax County watersheds in general.
