Zach showed up on December 21, 2002 and helped remove a mound of debris from the power cut between Little Rocky Run and Compton Road. It was cold and windy, but with the help of his father Scott, he got the job done.
Ron and Kim were among the bravest of volunteers who helped remove the discarded tires from the power cut between Compton Road and Little Rocky Run on January 25, 2003. (See "Tire Clean-up").

These young men showed up on March 15, 2003 and cleaned the tributary that flows under South Springs Drive. Special thanks to Colin Jareb, James Mullins, Andrew McLenigan, Brian McLenigan, and their fathers.

Alex, the environmentally-conscious marching dog, led the FLRR contingent in the 2003 Centreville Day parade. A couple of weeks later his owner, Anne Brodeur, won a $500 grant for FLRR.
